Znalezienia Krzy\u017ca \u015awi\u0119tego zosta\u0142a wzniesiona z fundacji w\u00f3jta warmi\u0144skiego Krzysztofa Troszki. W 1580 roku jej konsekracji dokona\u0142 biskup warmi\u0144ski Marcin Kromer. Budowl\u0119 odrestaurowano w 1766 roku (wtedy te\u017c zosta\u0142a ponownie po\u015bwi\u0119cona), a tak\u017ce w 1927 roku. Kaplica zosta\u0142a powa\u017cnie uszkodzona pod koniec II wojny \u015bwiatowej. W 1959 roku zako\u0144czono jej kapitalny remont. Obecnie obiekt wykorzystywany jest jako kaplica przedpogrzebowa. <\/p>\n<p>Jest to budowla w stylu barokowym, orientowana, salowa. Wzniesiono j\u0105 na rzucie prostok\u0105ta, na cokole z kamieni polnych i wymurowano z ceg\u0142y. Zewn\u0119trzne elewacje ozdobione s\u0105 tynkowanymi pilastrami oraz gzymsem. Szczyt \u015bciany wschodniej wie\u0144czy o\u015bmioboczna wie\u017cyczka na sygnaturk\u0119, nakryta barokowym he\u0142mem. Na nim znajduje si\u0119 chor\u0105giewka z datami: 1623 i 1927.
